David Beckham won’t likely play this year for the Los Angeles Galaxy, but that doesn’t keep him from being the highest-paid player in the league.
Salaries were released by the MLS Players Union on Monday and Becks topped it with his $6.5 million salary.
Landon Donovan is second at $2.13 million while Juan Pablo Angel is third at $1.92 million.
Toronto midfielder Julian de Guzman ($1.72 million) and Seattle midfielder Freddie Lungberg ($1.31 m) round out the top five.
