On a day when U.S. Soccer got some great news, Major League Soccer got some expected bad news, David Beckham will miss the entire season.

Beckham tore his Achillies tendon while playing on loan at AC Milan and said today that his recovery is taking longer than expected and he doesn’t expect to be ready to play again until November at the earliest.
The Los Angeles Galaxy have fared well so far this season, winning four and drawing five and sit atop the standings with 13 points.
